I'm currently working on a new performance analysis technique called "Variable Blame." This essentially is a system that takes low level data flow analysis data and maps performance metrics to program variables through data taken at runtime by sampling.

Before working on Blame, I worked on the Dyninst project. I did some work on liveness analysis for instrumented code and making Dyninst compatible with OpenMP programs.

Generally, my research interests are performance analysis tools, specifically in the realm of HPC.
