
I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Computer Science, University of Maryland, College Park. I work with Prof. Ashok Agrawala
at the Maryland Information and Network Dymanics (MIND) Lab.

Fall
2011: Advanced to candidacy. Successfully
completed my PhD thesis proposal.
Fall 2010: I am done with my core courses and the qualifying grade requirements. Presently, I am a Graduate Research Assistant with Prof. Agrawala at University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS), working at the MIND Lab.
Fall 08 - Spring 10: I worked as a Teaching Assistant with Dr. Ben Bederson, Dr. Jan Plane, Nelson Padua-Perez and Fawzi Emad for the courses CMSC131 and CMSC132 - Object Oriented Programming - I & II, at the Department of CS @ UMD. My responsibilities included holding discussion sessions, handling classes, conducting and evaluating quizzes, projects, homeworks and exams.
June 2005 - July 2008: I worked as a Research Associate at the Centre for Excellence in Computational Engineering, Amrita University, Coimbatore, India.
June 2005 - July 2008: I also taught, as a Lecturer, at the Department of Computer Science, Amrita University Amritapuri Campus, Kerala, India. Courses I taught include Data Structures, Operating Systems, Object Oriented Programming, Introduction to Programming (C Programming) etc.
