My Inspiration

Mata Amritanandamayi Devi or simply known as Amma has been my inspiration in all the ways I can think about.

Known around the world as the "Hugging Saint", Amma has been an inspirational guide to millions of her followers through her enormous and vast humanitarian activities. Its something about her which I cannot put into words here that each person needs to experience himself to know about Her. People gather in thousands to get Her "Darshan" (a personal audience with Her in form of a rejuvenating Hug) as Amma travels all around the world. Amma sits right at a place, sometimes for even 22 long hours giving Darshan till the last person who has come to meet her, without a break for food, rest or nature's call. She does not simply preach but exemplifies her teachings.

Dr. K P Soman, my research guide during my Masters at Amrita University is the Professor and Head of Centre for Excellence in Computational Engineering (CEN). He introduced me to the world of research. Whatever little that I have done, I owe it to him. He cultured patience and the right attitude for research in me, to take up any project and to proceed in the right direction to approach the problem. He encouraged me to take up projects, publish papers and a learn a lot about the various developments in the field of computer science. Dr. Soman has been my main inspiration academically.

My parents and my sisters have been beside me in every situation of my life. They have been my support, to advice me at every of my fall and rise. They have been my inspiration in every way possible.
