I am an assistant professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. I graduated with a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Washington in June 2010. My research interests lie in the fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Other topics of interest are: statistical relational learning, probabilistic graphical models, natural language processing, reasoning under uncertainty, social network analysis, computational biology, data mining, text mining, and Web mining.
