In case you are new to the Internet surfer, the following information should be useful.
Clicking at a highlighted word (or words), will connect you to the relevant file or URL (Universal Resource Locator). To go back to the previous screen, click the 'back' arrow or the corresponding button on your browser. Clicking on a highlighted e-mail icon or address will connect you to the e-mail address of that person. You can then send e-mail to that person from here itself.
All the formatted files are in the pdf format. You need a pdf viewer for these files. The pdf viewer is available free by downloading it from
ACROBAT. The pictures (gif/jpg/tif/bmp) and sound files (avi) can be viewed/heard by using the standard viewers usually available in Windows. Files which are more than 1MB in length have been identified in this document. If you connect through a modem, please note that a 1MB file may take about 15 minutes to download on a 14.4 modem. The actual time may vary depending upon how busy the server is at that moment.
Watch out for one thing. Most browser programs retain the visited files in cache after logging off. When you log-on next time, you are connected to what you had seen during your last log in. You will not, therefore, see the updated version of that file, if any. To see the latest version, always click the 'reload' button on your browser or empty your cache before logging in.
