Welcome to our Web page. This provides an efficient medium for a continuous multi-channel communication between all the members of the BSNA. This will also provide regularly updated information about the activities of the BSNA including our chapters. Please, therefore, visit us regularly and write frequently. This request is particularly aimed at our younger members. This page will provide a special forum for the younger members. Your e-mail messages will be regularly posted in the appropriate forum along with reactions and responses from other people. Unlike other bulletin boards, all the messages will be monitored before posting to avoid frivolous postings. This page will supplement the Brahma-Bharati. It is, therefore, appropriate that it has been designed by and will be regularly edited by Dr. Vinod Tewary, the editor of Brahma-Bharati. I invite all of you to cooperate with him in this venture that brings us on the information highway.
BSNA has come a long way within about a year of its inception. We have many successes as well as some failures behind us. Many people share the credit of our early successes. Any attempt to thank them individually would undermine the importance of their contribution. However, instead of brooding over our past successes and failures, we look forward to newer challenges. There are always higher peaks to climb, greater depths to fathom, and fresh goals to reach. We may make mistakes but our strength lies in the fact that, after every mistake, we move forward rather than stop or move backwards.
The BSNA started with a modest aim of simply preparing a directory of Brahmans. Soon it became apparent that the community needs much more than that. We need a platform and a forum where we keep the torch of our culture alive. We have to ensure that our children become useful and successful citizens of our adopted country while keeping their identity and cultural heritage. In short we move into the future while deriving strength from our past.
This page, amongst other things, is symbolic of our faith in the future and our belief in science and technology. Come and join us. Together we stand tall; separated, we fall.
