Hi, I am Poonam. I was born in a beautiful town named Dehradun located in the "Doon" valley of Himalayas. Dehradun is blessed with the bounty of mother nature and is a well known tourist place in north India. I have a Bachelors (B.Tech.) Degree in Electronics Engineering from Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. And a Masters (MS) Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from State University of New York, Stony Brook, New York. My MS studies were oriented towards VLSI design and digital systems synthesis and simulation. After finishing my studies I have worked with some great companies as a hardware design engineer and also lead various projects involving digital design. My areas of interest are ASIC design, FPGA design and high speed board design.
I am married to my wonderful husband Amitabh and we have an adorable three year old son Ayush. I love to travel and learn more about the history and culture of the wonderful people around the world.
