    2. Just a reminder that you have a reading assignment due Tuesday (pages 1-34 of "Secure Coding"). Please submit your *summary* by email to me before class begins. Please put [838P] in the subject line. If at all possible, please submit your work in PDF or HTML format. That would be very helpful to me. Don't forget to review the "Guide to Reviewing and Summarizing Readings in 838P"! Follow the format exactly!
    3. On page 34 of "Secure Coding," there is a list of 30 security design principles. These principles are then described on pages 35-51. I am going to divide pgs.35-51 among us:
If your LAST NAME begins with
      • A or B: read about principles 1-5
      • C - H: read about principles 6-10
      • I - K: read about principles 11-15
      • L - S: read about principles 16-20
      • T - Z: read about principles 20-25
and I will be in charge of principles 26-30.
BE PREPARED TO DISCUSS YOUR ASSIGNED PRINCIPLES IN CLASS ON TUESDAY!
  • 26 January, 2006: There is now a cmsc838p forum where you can post comments and questions. Click here to access the forum!
