Homework #3 (due 11/11/04):
Statistical analysis

All following page numbers refer to "Explaining psychological Statistics" by Barry H. Cohen. A copy of this book is on reserve at the computer science library. A copy of SPSS 11 is available in my lab (#3252) (Alternatively a 30 days evaluation copy can be downloaded from the internet). Explain all your answers.

1. (10 points) Exercise 2 page 458.

2. (20 points) Exercise 6 page 473. Compute the F ration using the method presented in class (use linear interpolation for the interpretation of your results). Check your result with SPSS using the General Linear Model menu. Please include the SPSS output with in your submission.
