Printing to a PDF

Creating (Printing to) a PDF file(PC)
You might already have a virtual PDF printer on your computer, but if not you can install CutePDF available at:
          http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp
in order to save a file as a PDF file. Installing CutePDF requires installing GPL Ghostscript 8.15 and CuteWriter. On the above page, you will see a link labeled "Free Download" that should allow you to download those two pieces. Click on that link and either select "Open" when the "File Download" dialog appear to run the installer, or select "Save" to save it to your desktop, and then run the installer from the desktop.

The following steps describe how to save a file as a PDF file once you have installed CutePDF:

  • Open the file and select the "Print..." option.
  • Choose "CutePDF Writer" as your printer and then choose "Print".
  • A dialog box will appear asking for a file name. Specify a name and choose "Save".
