Highlights from Fall 2021
- CMSC829A was offered for the first time!
- Our class had 20 graduate students from a variety of research areas, including machine learning, parallel computing, quantum computing, computational geometry, and, of course, bioinformatics and computational biology.
- Several student projects have been submitted or are about to be submitted to journals. For example, see Yunheng Han's project, TREE-QMC: Improving quartet graph construction for scalable and accurate species tree estimation from gene trees, on bioRxiv.
