The following is a basic description of one of the five project options
available this term.

apply to whichever specific project option you choose.
"Teacher's Assistant" - PDA based
There are many things that a faculty handles in class that might be made
easier if they had a computer easily available. For example, if you get
back an exam and add up your points and find that you should have gotten
a higher grade, it would be nice for the faculty member to record that
modified grade right then and there. Another example is that a faculty
member might count class participation as part of the grade - wouldn't it
be nice for them to have an easy way to keep a record of each time you
participate in a meaningful way? These are just two examples - there are
many more.
Your job is to design and implement the interface on the PDA as well
as enable that application to interact with the faculty member's office
PC (laptop or desktop) that might have things such as the actual records.
If there are things such as a bar code reader, digital camera or other
(available) device that you feel the PocketPC will need to have, you can
specify that as part of your project and then simulate the existance of it
when you are implementing your project.
