Where digital versions of books or articles exist, links to them will appear as well. The required text for this course is: Designing the User Interface: Strategies for Effective Human-Computer Interaction, 3rd Edition by Ben Shneiderman [Addison-Wesley], 1998.
The following are books that you might find interesting within the
context of the course. They are not listed for the course at the book
store, but are available at a wide variety of book stores.
A copy of chapter two will be handed out in class as a sample. A copy of chapter one will be handed out in class as a sample. Some other pages are available online at Amazon.com. A copy of chapter two will be handed out in class as a sample. The following articles are required readings as well. I will add to this list as the semester proceeds. I will announce in class when I do so.
