- May 10, 2004
- There will be a review session held on Friday, May 14th, from 4-6pm, in CSIC 2117. The format will be question-and-answer: bring your questions and problems, and we will try to answer and solve them.
- May 7, 2004
- Please fill out your CMSC250 course evaluation online.
- The TA's will continue to hold office hours through Tuesday, May 11.
- April 28, 2004
- Exam 2 grades are now posted. The final exam is scheduled for Saturday, May 15, from 4-6pm in the Armory, Room 0131. Preparation materials are posted in the exams section of the website.
- April 7, 2004
- Preparation materials for Exam 2 have been posted in the Exams section. Do not be thrown by the length of the sample exams -- those tests were designed for an hour and a half exam time or longer. So your exam will be shorter (because you only have an hour and fifteen minutes), but do not assume anything about how much shorter.
- March 16, 2004
- Exam 1 grades are now posted. The exam and the solutions are also posted.

- Because we all know how challenging proofs can be, here's a list of various proof methods. (Note: This is a joke. Do not actually use any of these strategies.)
- February 23, 2004
- Grades so far have been posted. They will (hopefully) be updated every week.
- January 27, 2004
- There will be a quiz every Wednesday in your lab section. The quiz will usually cover the previous week's material. The first Wednesday (January 28) will have a quiz to remind you of high school algebra: properties of exponents, log operations and factoring/multiplying polynomials. There are reminders of these properties in the back cover of the Epp textbook.
- January 26, 2004
- A slight modification to Jan Plane's office hours: Instead of 10:30-11:30 on Fridays as appears in the syllabus, her office hours will be 9:30-10:30 on Fridays.
- January 26, 2004
- Jan's office hours will begin this week, while the TA's office hours will begin on Monday, February 2. Enjoy your snow day.
