Introduction to Human-Computer Interaction

Kiosk for a Blockbuster video rental 

Create an application designed to help Blockbuster's customers pick a movie to rent. Typical kiosk setting will include a display (which might be touch sensitive), and possibly a keyboard and or a trackball, but you are free to propose any configuration you think will be useful. For this project, keep in mind:

• Hundreds of movies might be available

• Users will be using your interface in a public place, while in somewhat of a hurry

• Most of your users will not be familiar with the interface (since they will not use it very often)

• The system should
  -  Provide recommendations if users need them,
  -  Help users explore possible choices,
  -  Help users find the movie they wish to see rapidly (either from, recommendations, from browsing or from specific like the title)
  -  Help users locate the movie physically
  
  ( Of course the specific of each features would depend of the result of the Analysis and Definition phase.)

Please do not forget to check the hardware rules for 434 projects.
