NOTE: UMD is no longer developing or supporting Pad++. Our last released version of Pad++ (v.0.9) is quite stable
and will remain available at this site.
We are still actively exploring ZUIs, but are focusing on a new Java-based toolkit called
Piccolo which now available!

Pre-compiled binaries (contains all runtime libraries)
- Linux: pad-0.9p2-linux.tar.gz (Uses Tcl/Tk 8.0)
These binary distributions use the older version of tcl/tk (7.6/4.2)
- Linux: pad-0.9p1-linux.tar.gz
- IRIX: pad-0.9p1-irix.tar.gz
- SunOS: pad-0.9p1-sunos.tar.gz
- Solaris: pad-0.9p1-solaris.tar.gz
- Windows 95/NT: pad-09p1.exe
NOTE: The Windows version of Pad++ is not nearly as fast or reliable as the Unix version.
It does have the same functionality, and shares the same file format though. We apologize
for the inconvenience, and are working on a better Windows port. We can not currently give
an estimate of when the Windows version will be ready.
NOTE: On Windows, you must install Pad++ in a subdirectory without
any spaces in the name or it will die on startup. I.e., you can not install
Pad++ in the 'Program Files' directory. We will try and fix this in a future version.
