Welcome to the GUITAR software download page. All the software available on this page is subject to our license agreement. Please take a few minutes to read it.

NOTE: Please remember that most of these tools were developed for our research needs. They may not have all the features that you may require. Please send me a note if you would like to see a new feature implemented.

GUITAR Complete Software

            GUITAR is an extensible framework for testing software applications. GUITAR’s architecture allows us to create new “process plug-ins” to perform different testing activities. The “glue” that holds these plug-ins together is the project concept. A project is a collection of artifacts (usually implemented as files/folders) that may be consumed/produced by a testing activity. (More details on this can be found in our documents).

The GUITAR software is always evolving. Here’s a snapshot of the system:
