"Aw man, I look like some kind of tool..." While looking for a job today, I saw a guy on the median on 1960 with a dog and a cardboard sign. The sign said "Homeless" and some other stuff which I neglected to read. While sitting at the light, I contemplated how that, at current inflation rates and the standard cost of cardboard in this day and age (without neglecting the Coriolis Effect and Keynesian Economics), the man had afforded to buy the material for his sign. Now, the fellow coulda been a drug addict, or what I like to call a "homeless poser. " That would be someone who just pretends to be homeless in order to garner a few extra bucks a day.
Either way, it was most likely a sham the man had going. But then again he coulda been genuine... I contemplated his aquisition of the cardboard again, and the light turned green. Time to head off in my BMW with new Nokia color cellular phone, CD case full of music and nice shrts and tennis shoes... I gave him five bucks. God bless
