i sat through maya's GP class today. (in fact, it was his own sec 3 class but he had, um, hijacked it to coach some students again. ) but anyway, life sucks. i am still doing the puzzles, still winning tremendously at scrabble and still the total asshole that i was not 24 hours ago.
there's the 3 hour social studies lecture tomorrow. i wonder why they bother. but it would be good as always to concentrate 400 of us in one small sports hall thing and torture us with death threats, stones and of course the Stuffy Air. they don't bother to air condition anything in the school, do they. except the teachers' lounge, the staff rooms and the whole of our brothers' humble abode.
they really deserve it for all the hard work that they put in. not to mention: the teachers in my school never put up airs, never scold us for no rhyme or reason, never shout and yell at us. heck, they even deliver the morning newspapers to our doors every morning, if that's what you want to know. not that we are a terribly angelic lot either. if i were to give you a little percentage chart of the types of students in school, 5% are studious, the next 20% are not that studious but do acceptably well, 40% are so-so, another 20% don't really give a damn any more, and the rest don't even know they exist.
they're zombies. i swear that you can actually see it in their eyes, like sleeping fish. (fish have no eyelids. ) so yes, i am looking forward to the lecture by some of singapore's finest teachers. didn't you know that huh huh huh huh.
