biology lecture, then to marine parade library. i read, um, almost half of one of "a farewell to arms" (1/4 in the library, 1/4 on the homeward bus)... yes, it's a damned love novel.
but if i were to recommend two out of all the hemingway books i've read (about urlLink eighty percent of this list ) then my favourite three would be green hills of africa, garden of eden and for whom the bell tolls. and if you like the occasional challenge to the olfactory department then the old man and the sea would be good as well. (i like fish. yeah i do. i sure do. ) but there's this weighty tinge of his words, surely more than when he was talking about blood dripping down from a dying man in very sick, foreboding stream, that kind of ruins the highty flighty hemingway spirit of it all.
sorry about that, i am talking nonsense again. and although i am quite indifferent to animal farm, i'd recommend it over harry potter any day for just urlLink the last paragraph . would have been a fun book to do for lit in sec 1 or sec 2, if they hadn't decided to make us do one on some american gangsters. how nice, american gangsters. i thought enough of our school are americanised chinese gangsters, but apparently we haven't had enough. anyway, thanks to the nice fellow who vandalised one of the library books i'm working through now. you're a saviour. you really are. i'm being mean just saying this, but i hope you didn't make it to a university. hmmmph i am just fuming now. damn. when i'm angry i need some sparkling grape juice and sigur ros at my speakers. farewell.
