A very quick update about my life, best summed up in a word: hectic. The bad A new timetable is slightly more brutal than the old one ( release at 2. 40pm earliest every day,
no rest periods) Tests for every subject coming up next week Chinese O Level orals tomorrow, listening on Saturday Our school's closed- to- public youth day celebrations means that our class has a little stall - and I have been assigned to arm-
wrestle people - what the? Joey and I have to type out essays " ASAP" - I think we're both on the shortlist for our school's typically crappy (
if you ask me) essay collection, and I doubt I'll make the cut. The good Class t- shirt - cost $
13 and isn't lousy, but isn't the best thing in the world I hope it's not too thick like my other shirts so I can wear it at home I'll have a new set of pyjamas soon, if Kenn promises to buy for me - barring natural disaster, pyjamas delivery failure or intervention by miscellaneous forces I will be showcasing it in preference to the class t- shirt on Marist Youth Day Expect to arm-
wrestle a weak, short, drooling kid in his jammies - priceless Famous- among- TKGS-
girls- currently Kenn and me bought a couple of pies each for tomorrow morning's football game Our class bet that the result of tomorrow's football game would breach nine goals - one buck per head. That's a bit stupid you say - payouts, as I've heard:
$ 180 per dollar Bah, bah. And it's Chinese oral tomorrow. And guess what? I'm in the first Express class to the oral -
I'm among the first 40, at least. And I failed my Chinese oral in school, the only one in my level to do so, and our school's grading standards for oral is far more liberal than anything they're going to throw at us tomorrow. I have a headache now.
 Bye.
