But the guy didn't flinch at all. I have no sympathy for the canteen vendors because they cheat us of our money, only to dramatically reduce that amount when our principal shows up. Which isn't very often because he's always in China looking for "scholars". I saw what used to be the little red-haired girl today with her boyfriend, eyes lost in each other and walking around hand-in-hand, round and round like a merry-go-round for human beings. (I saw them sharing an enormous bowl of chendol before my usual soy-milk binging, and they were frolicking at the bus-stop I wait at to go home.
) Oh dear me. No, she isn't red-haired. And yes, Peanuts-insiders might understand. And yes, her hair is no longer that shade. That was over a fairly long time ago.
