This is an entry in three parts. Okay, five, what the hell. Zero Seven I'm listening to Zero 7's Simple Things - a friend you despise but always appears when you need one.
A BBC review takes a Douglas Adams turn for their Simple Things review: " Soul food from the lounge room at the end of the universe. Pitchfork's review is more acid than that. urlLink Sia Furler and urlLink Sophie Barker are only two of Zero 7's 15- strong live performers.
Sia is better endowed than I'd imagined and Sophie reminds me a little of Nina Persson, and I really do mean " a little" Oscar Wilde Oscar Wilde was a wild, insane man who knew his similes and wrote books that swaggered from " crappy"
to " sharp" The Picture of Dorian Gray is urlLink good reading . Actually, a finely crafted short novel: I finished 60/
230 pages in an hour, and reading on a computer screen is drastically slower than reading on paper. Fuck you, morally superior people I'm not chipper now. gotta learn to harden up. That's what life is about,
 right? Tell me - I'm a real man - a real, dignified man - when I'm a bucktoothed,
impotent pensioner in a dirty creased burgundy polo t- shirt who has nothing to do but sit at a kopi tiam every time there's a stupid football match on and jeer really loudly as and when I like and smoke like a Javanese forest because this world belongs to me and I'm really high up on the class ladder, which is why I'm a bucktoothed impotent pensioner in a dirty creased. Tell me. well, you've heard the parent slogan "
you don't know what it's like in the working world" I go to school with the same people as I will work with in the future, so what gives? Dramatic changes in personality? To the evangelist I've removed this section because, honestly,
I'm not hardline anything. I'm not an extreme atheist. I'm not a theist. I'm more convinced that I'll never know, that by believing in something I deem myself to have the final word. That's a bit too much arrogance in my book.
But you never know, I'm still young. Some time in my twilight I'll probably convert to the religion that saves me from the jaws of death. CY on opinion I don't think in terms of the general opinion, because I despise the general person.
