Ha-ha, I crack myself up! He did say though that he could smell the fires that are ragging all over SoCal. I didn't really get an answer out of him when I asked if they were close, but I am assuming they aren't, if he was still going to school. I honestly remember there always being a fire on Mt. Palomar at the beginning of every school year.
Maybe it was just two or three, but that was enough to make it seem like a yearly tradition. One year, there were numerous fires encircling my little town of Temecula & according to my math teacher, it looked like all of Temecula was going to be engulfed. I had this dream many years ago that a wall of fire that originated near the coast & was moving east, & was going to eventually burn all of California.
(Nevermind California falling off into the ocean, fire was going to be it's demise. ) So we got trash bags & started throwing clothes, pictures & whatever else we could save in the back of my dad's pickup & hopped into the car to try to get out of the fires path of destruction. I pray the fires are put out quickly, that no more homes & lives are lost & the people who started them are caught.
