Wellll...since blogger has been really gay lately (yes, I think it likes other blog-hosting sites), this blog should be like three days worth into one. However, now I cannot remember all that I wanted to write about so I guess I'll just wing it. Lessee.... Tuesday I went to Six Flags with Olivia and her younger brother and sister. That was ok, we were stuck riding the rides they wanted to which were like...the texas tornado (big swings), the sombrero...and such....hmm...but we left there kinda early and then me and Olivia went to see Alex and Emma for free cuz she works at the theatres now.
Then I spent the night at her house. I had so much fun tho, she is one of the funnest people to hang out with. It was like 2 AM and EVERYthing made us double over with laughter...it was great...Oh, and we were talking to people online and then Ryan got on and said that he was going to be going to the same concert as us on Saturday, so that should be incredibly interesting...I just hope I don't screw up the opportunity or anything ;). Wednesday and today I just worked...and I must say, customers have begun to piss me off...some of them are soo....gah, I can't even think of a word to describe them...last night, this guy, Darius told this woman he hoped she had a wonderful evening and she was like, "No, you talk too much and you take too long. " It was so rude, and Darius was just trying to be nice. And then this other time, this old man came through Jennifer's line and for some reason he was gonna get this cake for free, but Jennifer couldn't read the note that our manager scrawled on it, so she just scanned it.
The old man came back and was like, "EXCUSE ME, I was NOT supposed to get charged for this. " and Jennifer, smiling and trying to be as hospitable as possible said, "I'm sorry, Sir, I couldn't read the note there. " and he was like, "Well, MAYBE they should hire people that know how to read. " and left. I mean, honestly, the mistake would take about five seconds to fix at Customer Service and he has to be all....that word I can't think of.
And then there are always the classic people that are all, "Hey, those were $1.59 NOT $1.55!!!! GET YOUR MANAGER OVER HERE. I get those for free don't I? You had better give them to me for free. " Yes, customers can be very trying sometimes...some are cool though. Today, one of our floor supervisors, Stephanie, had some blank bags and started making her own store slogans...like "Kroger...You don't care about us, so we don't care about you. " or "Kroger...Where the customers get on our damn nerves. " or or...." Kroger...Where our customers ask 50 million stupid questions a day" One of the first was "Kroger...Our customer service really sucks, and our prices are even worse. " LOL and they were funny because they are so true! Haha, some of them were sooo freakin hilarious, it was great.
I wanted to get one and hang it on my wall, but I don't know what they did with them...oh well. Well, that's it...see, blogger sucks...if I had gotten to write the blogs right after the day I experienced them, they would be better....I wonder if the new improved version lets my archives be available...shall check now... Oh, the word I'm looking for is a mixture of pretentious, anal, immature, and inconsiderate....anyone know of a word to encompass all of those? Let me know if you do. I can actually think of a couple of words that might do it....heh...but I won't go there...well, bye. Lisa
