  semantics I'm noticing more and more that kids today rarely use the word "concert," replacing it with "show. " So if you went to see a band last night, you would say "I was at a show. " When did this trend start, and why was I not informed? Personally, I'm not a big fan of this trend. Going to a "show" sounds like you're attending a Broadway musical. But if it helps, I'll play along.
