This one will be exclusively dedicated to Mo. It's the worst possible time for me to comment on your post, Mo, but I feel I have to. We all know why people apply to McGill. We all know why the applied/accepted ratio at McGill is among the highest in this country. We all know what it's all about (name, prestige, contacts, whatever comes to your mind). We all know it, but some people are having a hell of a hard time accepting it.
Oh well, I really don't think it's reasonable, to say the least. And all that crap about atmosphere, teachers... C'mon, Mo, let's be adults here. Do you support that "Don't let friends go to McGill" stuff? If so, I am really sorry, and I don't have anything else to say to you my friend. I know you chose Concordia because McGill didn't offer the program you wanted, and I respect your choice. However, please stop this Concordia-oriented brainwashing here. You're not even their student yet. Wajdi, talk to students and teachers from both institutions and make an educated choice. Secondly, Mo, I have noticed lately that you are really obsessed with "superiority".
"... mathematicians are the most important because they could derive formulas from physics and chemistry". Now, what kind of nonesense is this? Scientists invented math as a tool to communicate and reason their discoveries. Don't get me wrong though: I am not saying math is not important. Nevertheless, your whole statement is just silly. I know ( read: I hope ) you didn't really mean it. Anyways, Mo, don't get too pissed-off. I'm just this kind nasty person picking on people's words.
I am a little upset myself, that's why it's not really a good time to write this :) Sorry about that. See ya in school! P.S. I don't want to trigger a major discussion on the above subjects, but I think it's inevitable. Oh, well... I'll just go have some normal sleep, which I haven't had for three days now. Bye.
