THIS ISN'T FUNNY ANYMORE! I left town for a week and returned to an absolute infestation of spiders outside my apartment window. They are the third generation of the original spider, urlLink Boris (who I posted about last month). I can no longer open my window because the babies manage to squeeze their little bodies through the screen, so I've kept it closed and have been running my A/C 24 hours a day as it's been so hot. I'm a conservationist and it upsets me to have to run up my electricity bill, especially when I am not at home. Besides, I really don't mind the heat, so in normal circumstances, my air conditioning is reserved for only the hottest and most humid of days. The management of my building told me there is nothing that can be done until the window washers arrive in October! Because of the way my window is installed, there is absolutely no way for me to open it and direct a hose at the cobwebs. Any suggestions? ?
