I wonder how long it will take before there is a pretty good meeting point between the library and all its resources, and the search engine, with its amazing computing power. I liked the reference to the "Deep Web"--a web that "comes to the surface only as the result of a database query from within a particular site" Here's a scary quote related to the Deep Web: "Some estimates put the number of Web pages that are hidden from the view of most search engines at 500 billion".
