2/28/04: 8:17 p.m. Running east down 9 mile road last night, I almost stopped to wonder why I hadn't stopped at an ATM prior to seeing my cousin's gig. How was I to know there would be a five dollar cover? Regardless, I ran down 9 mile, across (and up) Woodward to the nearest ATM. Or so I thought. The nearest ATM was, in fact, two buildings (in the opposite direction) from the cafe where my cousin was playing. It found this out on the way back to my car, which was parked in front of said ATM. Back to what's important. My cousin, Mark Christopher, put on an awesome show despite the fact that he was near losing his voice.
I'm sure if it was going then, it's gone now. Talk about sacrificing for your art... The next show is April 1st. Mark your calendars. The remainder of my night unfolded in this order: Drinking and playing pool. Then drinking and getting shot with a BB gun. Just when you think you've hit bottom.... Current mood: After the fact.... Current music: EyeSpy: Semantix
