This is for my homies in lock-down... Shout out to my dawgs in the corporate sector! Keep reading this crap an I'll keep writing it. Anyways, I made a trip to the ol' Barnes & Noble last night and was unable to walk away without purchasing something.
For all the 20-something out there (and whoever else reads this): Go purchase 'Box office poison' by Alex Robinson. Be warned. It is a graphic novel (10 cent word for comic book). It's a nice slice of life style comic for the post college set. It's well written and covers everything about being young: Relationships, shitty jobs, fears about the future and so on. While I'm at it... Read 'King Ink' by Nick Cave (Same guy that fronts the Bad Seeds). It's poetry that'll make you squirm in your seat. 'Elephant' from the White Stripes is a good listen too. Mort Crim in the house.
