hi, I just got back from a 5-day vacation in the super cool city of Ft. Worth, Texas. I went urlLink here and urlLink here and urlLink here . Additionally, I attended a meeting of retired federal employees; that was a lot of fun. It was essentially a meeting for some old people to catch up with each other's lives over the past month and get a good meal.
A lady talked about how her hearing aid got run over at the last meeting, and another complained jokingly that they couldn't afford to send a ragweed to the people in their organization who died. At the age of 60, I believe my aunt was the youngest member of this fine organization, which meets at a conference room at Weatherford College. Very amusing. I also put up with my bratty cousin, Austin, who claims to be six-quarters because he doesn't understand fractions...... I went to a baseball game, and hung out with my now 31-year-old cousin, Mark, and his wife, who is pregnant with a boy.
But I think the highlight of the trip was our visit to the Petroleum Club. After a fancy dinner there, my cousin and I both received rather large birthday cakes with bright sparklers shooting flames/sparks at least a foot into the air. They boxed up the cakes, since dinner included a dessert, and when we got home we found that the cake had been boxed with a Petroleum Club china plate underneath it. I guess they'll be short two plates when they do inventory. Also went to the Central Market in Ft. Worth.
It wasn't all that impressive. weeeeeeeeeee........... I think I'll go to TCU, just so I can live in Ft. Worth, yeah....... yeah........ that'd be great....... oh, and while I was on my aunt's computer, I looked at my blog in Netscape, and it looked awful...... so if you have Netscape, you can just go fly a kite, or something or something
