Today was work-on-catapult-with-DJ day. He arrived at 10 this morning and left a little while ago. We started out with an idea which turned out to be really lousy, so after lunch we went to home depot and found an employee that had build one in high school as well. He told us all we needed to know and what we needed to get; the coolest of which was his suggestion for the throwing arm, which was a long paint-stirring stick (free from the paint dept.). So our catapult says "Home Depot" on it, which makes it all the more cooler. By the end of the day we had produced a catapult, which could launch a tennis ball 10m... roughly.
Within three trials it should at least hit the bucket. Now, I need to work on the advertisement for it.... hmm Oh yeah, sometime today, my grandmother and my cousin and her family all came over and ate lunch and visited and such. I don't think I said more than a couple dozen words to any of them; we were busy on the catapult. Wow, another long entry (like Thursday's) that people won't read. (haha) //end
