Well I just got home from work, it was a slow day, but I got a lot of stuff done... I've gotta go work on the boat tonight with Sarah, yay, I haven't seen her in a lifetime!
Well since Monday, but that was brief. I've been working on and evolving a story that I've been writing for quite some time and last night I sorted out alot of the crappy writing from the good LOL... Not too interesting, but I just needed something to talk a about for a moment there. I went for wine with Mark last night, it was good but he was being a jerk to the waiter for absolutely no reason what-so-ever. Made me angry and irritated. He is such a spoiled brat sometimes, it seems to be hard to separate him from how he's learned to grow up to actually being a thinking and compassionate person who does not treat others badly just because he can. I call this "Centre of the Universe" syndrome, it is a condition brought about by mistaking yourself as been the whole entire reason why existence exists... Many people suffer from this syndrome, especially typical North American mothers of 2.3 children who like to drive around in mini-vans and pretend that they are always in a hurry and more important than anyone else. It's hard to imagine what women had to go through because the age of the minivan to transport all the useless shit that will most likely wind up in a landfill because that's where the 300 billion tonnes of disposable diapers go per year.
Are people stupid?!? I just don't know. We've lost all sense of common sense actually. Which is the first and last steps in the "Centre of the Universe" syndrome. Anyways, I must get going, I have to get ready for my second job and pick my aunt up from work. I had intended upon mowing the lawn today, but Tom seems to have the key to the garage on him again, instead of the key dish or on the cork board so that I might get to enter his pot haven when I want to.
We've had this conversation a million times and he still doesn't seem to get it, he's like an old dog that never really bothered to learn any tricks in the first place. Well, till next entry! HUGS DAN p.s. I got accepted into my Masters of Engineering programme! Tres excited!
