Exhausting week that finally ends tomorrow... and then Friday I go to Oswego to be with Shane. *smile* Class is going well, although my professor is slightly loopy. She's got more personality that I can possibly describe... and she goes off on these amazing tangential thought trips. Heehee. It makes the 5 hours of class go by pretty quick. As of tomorrow class is half over; hooray for 2 week long summer courses that give you three graduate credit hours toward your CAS.
Tomorrow the first batch of freshmen come in for CARE. It's kind of a mini orientation session for the kids and their parents to learn about financial aid, and to take tests, and also have the experience of sleeping over on campus. We've been preparing for it since May. CARE session II comes in on Monday while I'm in Oswego, and they leave Tuesday. Then on Wednesday CARE session III is here. That should be an interesting few days, because Shane will be here with me starting on Monday (on the hunt for a job! ) and I will be frantically making up beds for that last session. Then Camp College is here the 22nd through the 24th.
More beds to make for that. It will be good to have him here though... I love coming home to him. :) All of the top secret birthday stuff is done... wrapped up and ready to go. I went on an adventure Sunday to find the cake Shane wanted! Took me four different stores, but it's found thank goodness. I can't wait to get there Friday afternoon. Then Saturday he decided he wanted to work so he could buy me a present on Sunday. Silly boy. (but oh so lovely). I'll be going to Caz to visit Monica for the afternoon, so that will be really nice. Then Saturday night I will probably do some baking for Sunday's birthday celebration. So it's off to bed. To dream of lovely things. :)
