I continue to be unhappy with my ability to log on and post to my blog. My wife had a great time while she was away.
Her favorite thing was a 700 ft zip line over the lake at the grounds. She also had a very cool worship experience in a meadow of flowers on Sunday afternoon. I continue to feel stretched these days as I seek to finish out my current ministry position with integrity, pray about new employment, and move forward as an organic missional church planters. One day I will have an encouraging converstion about my future plans, but then there will be four conversations that are negative.
The night before last I watched the movie "Chocolate". It was a very moving experience for me and I saw several parraels in my life as I grew up as a kid and where I am know, and where God is leading me. I am trying to get all of the details to come together so that I can attend the Greenhouse by Neil Cole in Indianna next week. May this great God who called you (ME) ... keep you broken enough to mend others. ... keep you well enough to enjoy others.
... keep you hungry enough to feed others. ... keep you wondering enough to find the lost. ... keep you secure enough to present the truth. ... keep you home enough to enjoy the blessings. ... keep you out enough to see the broken. ... keep you fresh enough to inspire others. ... keep you weary enough to remain anchored to Him. ... keep you blind enough to believe him anyway.
... keep you real enough to be touched by the hurting. ... keep you numb enough to endure the storm. ... keep you sensitive enough to feel other's pain. ... keep you weeping enough to remain dependent. ... keep you joyful enough to continue on. ... keep you strong enough to reach the weak. ... keep you weak enough to reach out to the strong. And most of all, may God .... keep you growing and changing. Taken from Dary Northrop - Garage-Door Evangelism
