I saw Tony Friday night. It was good. We met at Union Station and then went to the Hotel Figueroa to have a drink. He's interesting. He was a Philosophy major at UCLA and he knew Guy. He took a few of his classes.
Franklin sounds familiar to him, but he never had him as a teacher. It's funny to meet someone who knows someone I know, but in a totally different way. He thought Guy was a pain in the ass, but he said he learned from him. I guess I can see that. It's Mark's birthday on Wednesday. I'm going to take him to dinner.
I have to get him something, but I really don't know what. We have such a history of giving each other bad gifts. I wrote him a new testimonial on Friendster. I want to see his for me, but he hasn't posted it yet. I have to remember to bring my camera next time I see him, so he can get rid of his question mark. Hae Won got the job at the Apple place.
It's freelance for now, but for real. I guess the Readymade issue comes out mid-month. I checked their website and the last issue came out on the 15th. I can't wait to see it. I wonder what they did with the cuffs. When they sent it back they had cut through the button hole.
Kind of weird. I know that sometimes photographers alter things, but why cut through the button hole? It wouldn't work other wise.
