  I put out feelers in many blogs, one in the dailykos most recent comments box. I got a reply from Ron in Japan, in which he tried to nail down the exact inclination. John found urlLink this Spaceflight Now article for me, which discusses the inclinations with more recent info than urlLink this old MSNBC one I had found. 42.4 degrees looks like the current inclination. He'll be in an eliptical orbit for the first seven hours, then shift to a circular orbit for the duration. Interesting bit going on at slashdot about this being the first person launched alone in 40 years.
