I don't play Fantasy, and today's a good lesson why. When I lay out my teams for the day, they're teams I'm cheering for, not teams I strategically guess will win. Ricky ran, and that's about it for my hopes for the day. I can't be too down on the Texans. They scored 17 on one of the best teams this year, only they had more than double that scored back on them, giving Steve McNair his best day ever. The Bears also came up short, but their game simulcasted the Texans so I'll have to wait for Inside the NFL to see what really happened.
I'm watching the ESPN late game: San Fran v Seattle. The kicker just blew the extra point because the holder toggled and faced the laces to him. I won't pretend like I get that, but it sucks hard to be a 49er at the moment. I always feel so bad for the one guy that messes up in these situations. I think about how he'll probably lay awake all night tonight thinking of that screw up. K Street was great tonight, they're playing like Mary Madeline is the rumored leak in the Bush admin, and they're playing so well, it's hard to know what's real.
