Already ready to be in New Mexico, I decided to read up on urlLink Rogi Riverstone's blog , she's an Albuquerque artist and writer who gets much material and inspiration from dumpsters.
In urlLink this very funny entry , Rogi was unfortunately (for the caller) on the call list of a marketing survey about One Life to Live. She explained that she didn't like it, but she has to watch because the soap she likes is on when she's working. Her critique of OLTL was great though, I'll quote my highlight: "I like Roxy because she's the ONLY working class character left! And you mock her like she's just sleazy trailer trash! There are REASONS why low income, single mothers become chemically dependent and are obsessed with their looks. " My grandparents always watched this soap. I know it's silly, but sometimes I watch just to remember what it felt like to be with them on a summer afternoon when school was out and my mom was working. Otherwise, I'm a DOOL lifer.
