my cat, Zia, is a fantastic fly killer. I found out because I always see her chasing flies in the air, batting at them, and I used to laugh at what a futile game that was. I didn't think there was a chance in hell that she could ever catch one. Then I found about five dead flies on the floor after she fell asleep one time and I've since realized she has a really good accuracy rate. Do they tease her? Why don't they just go fly up higher so she can't catch them? I wonder if she's any good with mice?
