When urlLink the New Yorker published an article last month on the emerging Height Gap between Europeans getting taller by the generation and Americans getting shorter, it sparked a flurry of articles in other publications, including the urlLink Guardian and urlLink NYT .
It was like editors had squashed this story until the New Yorker showed them it was something the reading public wants to see expounded in print. I loved this topic, because it blends so well the long-term affects of our lacking social programs and the self-interests of the American populous, who so often needs a motive to care about the aforementioned social programs. I was happy to find this follow-up interview of the original story's author, originally linked by urlLink Rebecca Blood . urlLink The New Yorker
