Notice how in urlLink this NPR story about the first openly gay Episcopal bishop, parishoners assume gay means permiscuous. I like that Gene Robinson pointed out he's not the first gay Episcopal bishop, but rather the first to be openly gay. More people need to make this about whether American Christians really mean to be promoting don't ask don't tell.

Sweden's Lutheran church is facing a near-schism over dual issues of ordaining women and homosexual pastors. The catch is, no one is Sweden gives a flying flip: "Most native Swedes are baptised, married and buried in the church but rarely darken its doorway in between. One percent are estimated to attend church regularly, making Sweden one of the world's most secular societies. "
