Today when I dropped Aidan off he cried again. Again I was matter of fact, kissed him goodbye and told him to kiss his sister.
He did, and I left. Again, I hid around the corner while he cried in his teacher's arms. Again after less than a minute he was fine and eating his snack. I don't want this to become chronic, and I need to find out fast if there is a deeper reason for it other than the huge amount of attention it got him last Friday. I entered separation anxiety easing toddler into the google search string and came up quickly with a urlLink mom to mom sharing site that had some pretty good advice. I think I'll try putting a picture of Aidan and me together on his sippy, and I'll start talking to him a lot more about the routine. Maybe I'll pop in early a few days this week, too. I hate this, it's just so un-Aidan!
