Weeds, Mariachis and a Dark Alley Before going to my dad's firestaion on Saturday, I did yardwork. Yes I know that is hard to believe but I used a shovel and yanked the weeds out of our front yard. I remember one time the weeds were growing so tall, I could have sworn I saw a few crop circles.
I didn't want to let them get that bad, so I yanked those suckers out. My cousin, Chantelle, was performing at the Mariachi festival at Armory Park on Saturday. I love going to this event. They have great food and excellent music. Plus this year it was a treat because Denise is here. I think this event gives Denise her required Hispanic culture for the trip. It was fun because a lot of the family was there to support Chantelle. It would have been better if Dina and my dad were there. I did happen to get some pics of the cousins while we were there.
Aaron, Chantelle and Jarrod Joaquin (Michelle's husband), Adrian, Michelle, Aaron and Jarrod While we were at the park, Charles got a call from his friend Eddie who happened to be in town. We went to visit him at some concert hall called The Muse. The band that he was there with didn't perform until 10pm. We got there about 730pm or so. It was strange because we just hung out in the back of the hall which was this dark alley. We talked until 945pm and then Charles and I went back to my mom's house and hung out for a little while longer. Afterwards we went home.
