I'm not going to go in depth about the Grammys, mainly because I don't want you to fall asleep. As urlLink Seth said, the only reason to watch the grammys was for The White Stripes and The Black Eyed Peas. I only agree with half of this however. I thought The White Stripes did a fanominal job, Jack White knows how to rock the house and how to dress like Harley Quinn. However, I despise The Black Eyed Peas, I really do not like them. Sure they sing about how America is hurt and down and not doing good. But I'm sorry, I've heard these type of statements all the time, about how these people (not to be stereotypical) grew up in the Bronx and they know what the hard life is like.
They said the CIA were terrorists in the song! (Correct me if I am wrong) Seth, I'm sorry buddy but I did not like The Peas's performance, nor the Justin Timberlake performance with an entire choir for back up singers. The performances I did enjoy were: The White Stripes, Beyonce (Because she is extremely beautiful), Sara McClaughclin (sp? ), Outkast (both performances), George Clinton, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and the Beatles tribute with Dave Matthews (forget Vince and Sting).
But the one I most enjoyed was the one that almost brought tears: the tribute to Warren Zevon. I love that song and Warren, and that really made my day. A quick 'shout-out': I've been asked many times by this young (haha) lady since she learned of my blog, to be mentioned on it. Eve Sarret you rock the house, long live the Eve.
