I just got my wisdom teeth taken out today. At the moment my jaw is still completely numb, so I don't know how much this is going to suck. Being knocked out for it was quite an interesting experience, though. Besides the fact that they nearly couldn't find a vein to get the IV into (that's a problem with me and my veins...), it went just fine.
About 30 seconds after they put it in, I was out for the count. The next thing I knew, I was being walked into their recuperation area, where I stayed for I don't know how long (probably not more than about 15 minutes, actually), and then I was driven home by my mom (I have absolutely no memory of this after walking to the car, but I got home so it must have happened).
After that, I basically fell asleep on the couch after about 5 minutes or so (maybe less) and I didn't wake up for about 3 hours. I seem to have completely recovered from whatever drug they used to knock me out, and now I just have the fun-filled job of entertaining myself without being able to talk. Anyway, if anyone calls for me the next time I see you I'll smack you.
