  President Bush is back on the campaign trail, apparently with a new "theme. " A urlLink story on cnn.com quotes the new refrain as "we've turned a corner, and we're not turning back. " Hello? Turned a corner? The Republicans have a month before their convention to go hog wild with how Bush is the better choice and the best they can come up with is "We've turned a corner. " Turned a corner from what? The economy is still sketchy. Soliders are still dying in Iraq. Osama bin Laden is still making poor recordings denouncning the US of A. I think the new refrain should be "We've slipped off the curb. " Anybody got a band-aid for Dubya?
