#1 - The shopping. The shopping here is incredible! All the branded stuff are cheap cheap cheap.
We found adorable baby gap hats for under a dollar, and I got Abercrombie tops for under four dollars. Also, Reebok sweats for ten, CK undies for three, Denim jackets for fifteen... etc etc. Absolutely fabulous! This is as opposed to back home where they mark up prices before going on a sale and you can only ever find dodgy stuff which you won't want anyway. #2 - The universities. The uni's here are beautiful. They have so much character and history.
The one I am at right now (Washington University at St. Louis) is celebrating it's 150th year this year. Plus, there is always wireless and free internet. This is as opposed to back home where the campus is relatively ugly and stingy. #3 - The entertainment. Yup, all the new movies come out here first. Nuff said. I saw Shrek 2, Troy and Van Helsing. Shrek 2 is my fave! Brad Pitt has lost his appeal to me, and Hugh Jackman isn't as good all covered up in black clothing.
Am going to check out the uni here now... it's graduation day and there are free food and drinks all about.
