I took the bus to Silvercity this evening to see Fahrenheit 9/11, and I thought I would be safe and get a ticket over an hour before it started, but alas it was sold out.
I decided to go see The Terminal instead. I like Tom Hanks a lot, but had heard mixed reviews of this movie. I was skeptical going into it, but it was a very good movie. Keep in mind that I also liked Lost In Translation in retrospect.
The Terminal is pretty drawn out at times, like Translation, but because I like Tom Hanks I didn't mind. Catherine Zeta-Jones-Douglas is also in this, and she's fine. Although there is a romantic element to the movie, its not the main theme, and that was a nice surprise. This is one I could see myself buying on DVD.
